BANYAN TREE HOLDINGS

Banyan Tree Holdings Limited is a hospitality brand that manages and develops resorts, hotels. It opened its first resort in Phuket in 1994 on an abandoned tin mine. Its founder is Ho Kwon Ping

CAPITALAND

CapitaLand Limited  is a real estate company. Formed in November 2000, as a result of a merger of DBS Land and Pidemco Land, it is one of Asia's largest real estate companies. It owns numerous buildings like Capital Tower and some malls, including the iconic Raffles City

OSIM

OSIM is an electrical and household appliance company established in 1980 by Ron Sim. The O in the name is meant to represent the Earth while SIM is the founder's surname.

RAOUL

Raoul was founded in 2002 by FJ Benjamin. It debuted at the 2010 New York and Paris Fall/Winter shows. It was originally launched as a men's shirt label, only branching out to womenswear in response to demand for affordable tailored pieces.

TUNG LOK GROUP

TungLok Group owns and manages over 40 restaurants in Singapore, Indonesia, China, Japan and India. Its founder, Andrew Tjoe, opened a small Hunanese restaurant at the current Corpthone Orchid in 1980. Since then, it has expanded into a full-fledged Chinese F&B conglomerate.

SINGAPORE AIRLINES

Singapore Airlines is the national carrier of Singapore. It was established as Malayan Airways Limited in 1947, then became Malaysia-Singapore Airlines, before becoming Singapore Airlines in 1972. It was the launch customer of the Airbus 380-800.

BREADTALK

BreadTalk was opened in 2000 by local entrepreneur George Quek. The bakery is under the umbrella group BreadTalk Group, which also owns Toast Box, RamenPlay, Food Republic and Din Tai Fung.

HYFLUX

Hyflux is an environmental solutions company and was founded in 1989 by its current President, Olivia Lum. It has won contracts to build the biggest desalination plant in China and Algeria. It also built the SingSpring desalination plant in Tuas.

THAI EXPRESS

Thai Express is a Singapore-based chain of restaurants serving Thai cuisine. The first restaurant opened in Holland Village  in May 2002. Since then, there have been other outlets in Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Australia, Mongolia, and even Hyderabad in India.

TWG TEA

TWG Tea was formed in 2008, opening a shop at Republic Plaza. Their products were also sold at Dean & Deluca in New York in 2008. In 6 years, the company has shops and boutiques in over 14 countries.
